Phishing Scam Alert | Fraudulent Job Postings
We have become aware of fraudulent emails (phishing scams) circulating that falsely represent Volkswagen Group Singapore as the sender. These emails aim to deceive individuals by offering fictitious job opportunities and requesting upfront payments.
These scams have become increasingly sophisticated, often mimicking legitimate recruitment processes. They may be disseminated through third-party websites or directly via email. To protect yourself, please be vigilant for the following indicators of a phishing scam:
- Spelling and grammatical errors
- Implausible web addresses within links
- Suspicious email addresses that do not end in @vw.com.sg
- Urgent requests for personal or financial information
- Job postings promising excessive compensation for minimal qualifications
Volkswagen Group Singapore does not charge candidates any money.
We do not engage in recruitment practices that involve upfront payments or the use of personal email accounts for official communication. We urge you to exercise caution and avoid responding to suspicious emails or clicking on unfamiliar links.
If you believe you have encountered a phishing scam, please refrain from taking any action and immediately delete the email.
For official communication, please ensure that all email correspondence originates from addresses ending in @vw.com.sg.
Please refer only to our official channels for job postings.
