Sales Representative (Light Commercial Vehicle)
About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth in Singapore’s market for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) and related services.
As a Sales Representative, your responsibilities include:
- Proactively seek out and connect with retail and fleet customers.
- Acquire new business clients through various customer data sources
- Systematically develop the fleet sales market for LCV using market information
- Evaluate all public tenders, develop finalised quotes and follow up on all public tenders systematically
- Coordinate with and support the Marketing Communications Team in new vehicle sales and marketing activities, such road shows, campaigns, other sales-related events
- Actively support the company-wide Customer Relationship Management processes (e.g. ensure an up-to-date customer/prospect database)
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while also building rapport to attract new clients
- Ensuring exceptional customer service remains a top priority in this role
- Assume process ownership for all operational sales processes
Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the automotive or related industry
- Understanding of the Singapore market and customer needs
- Exceptional ability to communicate and build relationships
- Articulate and fluent in English
- Pro-active and self-starting attitude with outstanding customer service orientation
- Strong desire to exceed expectations
- Position requires frequent networking and outdoor prospecting
- Valid class 3 driving license
