Service Manager

Reporting to the Senior Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the service centre. You will ensure smooth running of the service centre, while at the same time develop and employ strategies to grow profits in a sustainable manner.

What you need to have is a passion to deliver highest level of service quality to our customers and yet someone who is target driven. You are a team leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to provide full support and guidance to your team members, and able to work well inter-departments.

Your tasks:

Planning and target achievements

  • Supports the Senior Aftersales Manager to meet department’s turnover, profitability and customer experience management targets
  • Oversee the operations and development of service centre; maintains good relationships with customers, external vendors, as well as the internal Service team
  • Adhere to corporate regulations and guidelines, reporting requirements and periodically analyse the business, operations and customer satisfaction performance of the service centre
  • Monitors and drives business performance daily to be in line with targets
  • Lead, supervise, and monitor service team’s performance and take measures to improvement

Operation management and support

  • Direct contact with customers to resolve service-related matters
  • Downline performance monitoring and target achievements, optimise service bookings, identify process gaps and implement process improvement initiatives when required
  • Support corporate events in the area of Aftersales
  • Responsible and prepare for Audit reporting for Service Centre
  • Work closely with HR on manpower issues, recruitment and training needs
  • Gather information from all available sources (Internet Forums, motor magazines, test reports, competitors’ information), analyse and condense the relevant information and make it available for internal use
  • Structure and provide all product information for specific models
  • Support any ad-hoc product requests

Your skills:

  • Degree in Automotive Technology / Mechanical Engineering / Business Management or its equivalent
  • 8 years of relevant experience in managing automotive service and workshop including 3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid class 3 driving license
