Product & Pricing Executive

The Product & Pricing Executive is responsible for the current and future product portfolio of passenger cars and internal alignment with various departments on the market offer. He/she develops and provides product positioning strategies and establishes offer structures tailored to the Singapore markets, taking key competitor products as well as customer insights into consideration.

Main Responsibilities:

Product Strategy

  • Conduct and maintain comprehensive market analysis (overall segment and competitor models)
  • Propose and define strategic competitors, monitor their pricing, specification and performance
  • Propose external and internal product positioning
  • Propose offer structure and equipment level for the respective models, based on own USPs, competitive situation and market requirements
  • Work closely together with planning team in order to support annual planning process and provide mid and long term model volumes, based on given total market and segment data
  • Take assumptions for consumer acceptance of future items and take rates
  • Provide, structure and communicate all product cycle information as a basis for short, mid and long term planning

Pricing

  • Propose market oriented option and model pricing
  • Use customer values to support pricing proposals, derive customer values in the market and propose revisions where needed
  • Monitor OMV, MSRP and transacted prices
  • Maintain and perform F2R calculation
  • Propose, validate and perform price/volume concept proposals, align them internally and prepare for discussions with headquarter

Product (information) Support

  • Key product/contact person for the respective models, organise and drive internal product briefing
  • Gather information from all available sources (Internet Forums, motor magazines, test reports, competitors’ information), analyse and condense the relevant information and make it available for internal use
  • Structure and provide all product information for specific models
  • Support any ad-hoc product requests

 Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Management, International Marketing or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in consumer/electronics goods with product planning and management exposure, preferably in an automotive industry
  • Good command in both written and spoken English
  • Proficient in MS Office with strong knowledge on MS Excel (Advance preferred) to process and analyse complex and large amount of information
  • Good in visualising complex information using MS PowerPoint
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore automotive market
  • Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License
  • High level of independence and initiative
